20 Further Work ToDo

These implementations are planned for the near future (any help is appreciated):

• Allow the use of kernel cpufrequency governors(configurable) instead of current userspace only implementation.

• Implement cpufreq support for dual core machines (patch already exists, will be added soon).

• Make use of cpufreq-utils libraries. They can be found here http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/kernel/cpufreq.

• Get rid of libpowersave library to access hardware through reading /sys /proc and ioctl. Use HAL instead.

• Use DBus for the communication protocol instead of the own socket interface.

• Use DBus as user-management instead of the power group approach or the resmgr interface.
