This is a command line tool for manipulating Python wheel files, as defined in PEP 427. It contains the following functionality: - Convert .egg archives into .whl - Unpack wheel archives - Repack wheel archives - Add or remove tags in existing wheel archives Historical note This project used to contain the implementation of the setuptools bdist_wheel command, but as of setuptools v70.1, it no longer needs wheel installed for that to work. Thus, you should install this only if you intend to use the wheel command line tool!
Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
The pkg_admin audit command locates any installed package which has been mentioned in security advisories as having vulnerabilities.
Please note the vulnerabilities database might not be fully accurate, and not every bug is exploitable with every configuration.
Problem reports, updates or suggestions for this package should be reported with send-pr.
