devel/ruby-concurrent-ruby - The NetBSD Packages Collection

Modern concurrency tools for Ruby

Modern concurrency tools including agents, futures, promises, thread pools,
actors, supervisors, and more.

Inspired by Erlang, Clojure, Go, JavaScript, actors, and classic concurrency
patterns.

The design goals of this gem are:

* Be an 'unopinionated' toolbox that provides useful utilities without
debating which is better or why
* Remain free of external gem dependencies
* Stay true to the spirit of the languages providing inspiration
* But implement in a way that makes sense for Ruby
* Keep the semantics as idiomatic Ruby as possible
* Support features that make sense in Ruby
* Exclude features that don't make sense in Ruby
* Be small, lean, and loosely coupled

Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.

Known vulnerabilities

The pkg_admin audit command locates any installed package which has been mentioned in security advisories as having vulnerabilities.

Please note the vulnerabilities database might not be fully accurate, and not every bug is exploitable with every configuration.

Problem reports, updates or suggestions for this package should be reported with send-pr.
