QEMU is an open source machine emulator and virtualizer.

QEMU supports full-system emulation, to run operating systems for any
machine, on any supported architecture. Virtualization can be
accelerated to achieve near-native performance. Certain targets
also support user-mode emulation.

This is stable branch 7.x and retains support for HAXM acceleration.

Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.

debug-info: Enable debug info in generated binaries (e.g. for crash analysis), but not full scale debugging.
gtk3: Enable support for GTK3.
iscsi: Enable iSCSI support.
iscsi: Enable iSCSI support.
jack: Enable support for the JACK audio server.
jemalloc: Enable the jemalloc memory allocator.
sdl: Use SDL as the audio/display library.
spice: Enable Spice-Space support.
