Kaname-cho font is an 12x12 dots bitmap font for Japanese. This font was originally designed by Yuuji Ebihara for SX shell under SHARP X68000 personal computer. The conversion to BDF was done by tetsu at kuis.kyoto-u.ac.jp.
Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
