XFM is a powerful file and applications manager program written using the X toolkit. It contains virtually all of the features that you would expect in a file manager -- move around your directory tree in multiple windows, and move, copy or delete files with simple mouse operations. Directory displays are updated automatically in regular intervals when the contents of a displayed directory changes. The integrated application manager allows you to load files into your favourite applications from the file manager by dragging icons. It can also be used as a "shelf" onto which you can place files and directories that you are currently working with. A special LOAD action for application files enables you to manage different application groups.

Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
The pkg_admin audit command locates any installed package which has been mentioned in security advisories as having vulnerabilities.
Please note the vulnerabilities database might not be fully accurate, and not every bug is exploitable with every configuration.
Problem reports, updates or suggestions for this package should be reported with send-pr.
